Final result of my first hands-on experience with Phoenix FD fire.

My original model, rendered with Corona.

The wood render before compositing.

Breakdown:
Hey ho! I tried to dive deeper into Phoenix FD and experimented with fire simulations. Here are the results! 😊 I created some simple modeling in 3ds Max and rendered it with Corona Renderer. I added particles for the fire sparks and smoke effects using the Trapcode Particular plugin in After Effects. For the fire itself, I used a texture emitter to ensure only specific areas were set ablaze and became the source of the fire. Final compositing was done in After Effects. It’s not my best result, but I really enjoyed the learning process!
